How did you end up in space with your study/work background?
Interdisciplinary teams are fundamental in the space sector. The combination between law and business, plus additional space knowledge through ISU, and personal experiences, made a great combination for the role needed in the organization. Each case is different, and it's about you (people), not titles.
What advice would you give fellow non-tech space enthusiasts if they want to pursue a job in space?
Space needs everyone: interdisciplinary, international and intercultural teams. If space is your passion, then do what you love, and take your giant leap. And if you still think your skills and yourself are not "the right stuff", remember the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it... so all of what you think is against you, is just wind under your wings...
How does your specific non-tech discipline or expertise add value to your organization?
Behind every organization there is people, and they want to tell their story. Behind every amazing astronomical discovery there was a team, eager to learn and share their knowledge while furthering space exploration. Behind every beautiful space image there is us, because we are made of star dust, and thus our connection with the universe is inevitable. How can we not share this? We are the space generation, and the skies are our natural right... look at the sky, get inspired, connected, and understand our place in the world... every organization needs an extraordinary communications team.
